AW…When Honey Pot Finds Out Wayne Used to Date Amber 😳☕

A Bigger Space, A Bigger Start

“Okay, it’s a lot bigger,” she said as she stepped inside.
“Welcome to my new house.”

The pride in Honey Pot’s voice was unmistakable. The house wasn’t just bigger—it felt like breathing room after years of squeezing her life and her son into a cramped apartment. Boxes were still half-open, dĂ©cor not yet hung, and the faint smell of new furniture lingered in the air, but it already felt like home.

“We got a lot more space than we had in our little tiny apartment,” she added with a soft smile.

“I see. That’s good for Kai,” her friend replied.

“For sure. He’s been running around here like crazy. I don’t have everything settled yet. I’m still unpacking, figuring things out, ordering stuff. It’s going to take some time, but I’m working on it.” Honey Pot sighed, but this one was content. “I’m happy you’re here, girl.”

A Heavy Mood

Her friend tried to smile, but her energy was off.

“Can I get you some water or something? You good?”

“Uh, no, I’m good. Sorry, my energy is not up there.”

“What’s up, girl?”

That’s when everything shifted.

“Me and Wayne kinda
 we got into it.”

“Not the lovebirds,” Honey Pot said, rolling her eyes playfully. “About what?”

“Dumb stuff.” She inhaled sharply. “I went with him to Amber’s house and she called herself checking me for being two-faced.”

Honey Pot blinked. “Too-faced? To who?”

“I guess to her. Because I hang out with you. So when she came at me, I was like, ‘Well, I can just go. I don’t want to be somewhere I’m not welcome.’ But then Wayne got mad at me because I was ready to leave.”

“Girl
who wants to be in that situation? No. Absolutely not.”

“Exactly,” she said. “The whole thing was weird.”

The Real Reason Behind Amber’s Attitude

“You’re too-faced because you’re friends with me?” Honey Pot raised an eyebrow. “Girl, please. Amber isn’t mad about our friendship. She’s mad because she sees Wayne giving you the life she wanted from him.”

Her friend froze. “What?”

“Yeah. When her and Wayne were talking behind the scenes—fake dating or whatever—Wayne kept her in the dark. Now? He’s sharing you with the world. She’s jealous, not confused.”

“Okay, wait—hold on. Her and Wayne?”

Honey Pot nodded. “Yeah.”

“As in
 they used to date?”

“Yep. And I told you Wayne had other girls he was playing with. Amber was one of them.”

Her friend stared, stunned. “You mentioned other girls, but I don’t remember anything about Amber. Then he took me over there like nothing?”

The Wedding Day Bombshell

“Girl
Amber and Wayne used to date. And she was cheating on Anthony with Wayne their whole engagement.”

“WHAT?”

“She’d be with Anthony one minute and with Wayne the next. The DAY of their wedding? Wayne and Amber woke up together.”

Her friend’s jaw dropped. “Oh my God. She was cheating on her fiancĂ© with Wayne
and Wayne does business with him?”

“Yep.”

“And they’re always together! How is that not the craziest thing ever?”

Honey Pot shrugged. “Apparently everybody’s ‘grown.’ They got past it, supposedly. Anthony and Wayne decided to keep doing business, so it is what it is.”

Her friend shook her head. “I thought Wayne and I were being real and different
”

“I guess not,” Honey Pot said softly. “Don’t say it came from me though. Just keep it low.”

A Shift in the Room

Her friend went quiet, staring into the distance.

“You okay?” Honey Pot asked.

“I’m good. I’m just
 thinking.”

“That’s how people look when they’re about to fight,” Honey Pot joked nervously.

“I know,” she said. “It’s just
 very interesting to know.”

Honey Pot exhaled. “Girl, that was some tea. I’m sorry I had to be the one to tell you, but somebody needed to. They’re just walking around acting like everything’s normal.”

Her friend nodded slowly. “Nothing about that is normal.”

Back to the House Tour

Honey Pot cleared her throat, trying to lighten the vibe again.

“Anyway! Show me.”

“Oh—yeah.” She tried to shake off the shock. “All right, so we have the dining area over here
”

The house tour continued, but the energy had changed.
Because nothing was the same now.
Not the house.
Not the friendship dynamics.
Not the way she saw Wayne.

And definitely not the way she saw Amber.
